An example from everyday work
A timetable needs to fit the people. The rooms. And the requirements.
A college needs to schedule six groups, eight instructors and five rooms. Some courses require specialist rooms, while instructors have different qualifications and availability.
The challenge
Moving one lesson in a spreadsheet solves one problem and creates another: the instructor is busy, the room is unsuitable or a group loses required teaching time.
